A funny thing happened on the way to the post office to mail those fat tax checks on Friday: I got rear-ended, and ended up in a 4 car fender bender.

The one shot above that isn't of my car is of the instigator's vehicle. That's the one that struck me from the rear, and pushed me into the jeep in front of me, which in turn collided with a Volvo station wagon.

I still got my taxes taken care of. :-)

Monday morning, I have to get to police report from downtown and contact the instigators insurance company to start the claim process. Fun fun fun. I have a phone interview at 10 am (probably only with the HR rep.)

Remixing 'Bush of Ghosts'

Coinciding with the re-(re-re-)release of My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, Byrne and Eno have put up this website with, well, stuff on it. Not the least of which is the chance to download portions of the original work for you own remixing.

- people who consider that album a breakthrough of sorts in the use of "discovered" vocals in popular music

- people who just think that album is awesome because it sounds good to them

- people who are interested in the visual arts aspect of what they were doing at the same time, coming up with the album cover, song videos, and art-for-arts-sake

- people who are interested in process in art

- Byrne/Eno fan-boys
