Jesus speaks to W?

You know, if Jesus Christ were alive today, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be willing to sign a loyalty oath. Hence, he couldn't even get into one of Chimpy McFlightsuit's rallies.

Not that a young middle-eastern man would have a chance anyway.

Escapades of Cindy

This could be bordering on...stuff one shouldn't put on the internet kind of thing.

Just over 10 years ago, my father's father passed away. He was truly a wonderful loving man, who was loved in return. Lots and lots of family came in from here and there to attend to funeral in rural Georgia.

My dad's brothers were all there, one older and two younger, and all of their kids. That took some doing, truly.

Well, his older brother, Kenneth, came with his second and current wife, and his three daughters by his first wife.

Kenneth's only son, the youngest in his family, late 20s at the time, came with his mom, the first wife, Cindy.

Cindy, to my knowledge, has never been committed to a mental institution. Small wonder.

Cindy and Ricky arrived pretty late at night the same day that most everyone else arrived, and went straight to Granny's. Honest to goodness, the first item on Cindy's agenda was to rifle through the medicine cabinet to see if there were any drugs that Papaw left behind which might be of use to her. I guess there were, and she asked to keep them. I don't know if I ever heard the how the whole conversation went, but, wow.

Short story long, I guess, really.
